Kieran flipped.. again.. & again & again & again!!

Kieran has learnt how to flip onto his tummy, PROPERLY now!!! He has learnt to move his right hand out of the way. It is just so amazing that he went from "cannot turn" to "turn and turn and turn" in a matter of a few days.

Thu/ Fri
Managed to flip a few times, usually with his right hand pressed under himself and he'll yell for us to help him move it.

Sat
Kept flipping onto his front. Again and again. Until he could finally free his right arm from under him.

Sun
Same thing. He kept practising his turning. It was quite amusing to return to the room to see him on his front, smiling at me when I just walk away for a little while. He can flip onto his front pretty quickly now.

Mon
He practiced so much until he even turned in his sleep. He still doesn't know how to return onto his back so he'll cry for us to help him when he gets tired. Thus, sometimes, he'll wake up from his sleep crying cos he turned onto his front. I'll turn to him and find him on his front, eyes closed and crying. He'll continue sleeping when I put him back onto his back.

Tue
He is really getting very proficient in this flipping business!! He can now 'lift' himself up a little by pressing down on his trapped elbow to move the arm out!! He can also now reach for toys placed in front of him! The Gymni mat is now very interesting to him cos he can now see the colourful animals below him. He's already started pulling and chewing on the elephant's ears!!

New worries
We'll have to be more careful with where we place him, now that he loves flipping around.

No lying on the edge of the bed, especially if the edge is closer to his right (his preferred flipping direction).
