Kieran attended Gymboree at SF!

Since Isabelle was attending Gymboree here at Daly City, we thought it was a good idea for Kieran to attend a trial class too! I have been thinking of sending Kieran to either Gymboree or Tumble Tots in Singapore and so this was a perfect opportunity to check out how Gymboree was like!

Kieran attended the Stage 2 class where they focussed on songs and tactile stimulation. Kieran loved the 45min session! We started off with Kieran sitting on my lap and singing "Tony Chestnuts", then the trainer put out some lambskins, husge parachute cloth, plastic and rubber balls and a huge rubber tubing out for the babies to play with. Kieran loved the rubber balls and was just grabbing and grabbing at them!

There were more songs and we were told to lie down and put the babies on our shins so that now they are in the air! We had to roll them around and sang "Fly, fly, fly the plane" (row row row your boat tune). Kieran loved this one too! He was giggling so hard that he started drooling all over me!

The other activity that Kieran really liked was the last one. It started the trainer laying out a huge "parachute", which was a thin colourful nylon cloth. We were told to put the babies on them and then the trainer blew bubbles over them and PP was so engrossed with looking at the bubbles. Then we held the parachute and started shaking it to puff it up and the bubbles which were stuck to it started flating up again. All the babies loved the cloth going up and down! After which, we put the babies below the parachute and started lifting the cloth over them. Kieran went wild over this one. He just loved seeing the colours billowing on top of him.

On the whole, I really think that it was a good session. Kieran really enjoyed it. Even Daddy agrees that we should send him to Gymboree when we return to Singapore! I think the activities really stimulate his senses. I think I will go for a trial session when we get back!
